Agnieszka Mączyńska, PhD (dr hab.), archaeologist, curator at the Archaeological Museum in Poznań, researcher specialising in the archaeology of Egypt from the Neolithic period to the beginning of the Old Kingdom, ceramologist, author of numerous scientific and popular science publications on the prehistory and earliest history of Egypt, member of archaeological expeditions working at archaeological sites in Egypt in Tell el-Farkha (Nile Delta), in Merimde Beni Salama (Nile Delta), Naqada (Upper Egypt), and Bargat el-Shab (Western Desert). Since 2004 head of the Museum’s Department of Exhibitions and Education; curator of numerous exhibitions at the Museum.
