Marion Colas-Blaise is a Full Professor (emeritus) at the University of Luxembourg (Faculty of Education, Social Sciences & Humanities, “Humanities” / IPSE). She is the Head of French Studies – Bachelor in European Cultures and of the Institute for Roman Studies, Media and Art. She has published alone or with other researchers many collective books and scientific papers in the fields of literary and visual semiotics, enunciative linguistics, stylistics, pragmatics and Discourse analysis. Her work is located at the crossroads of different disciplines (language sciences, art theory, philosophy, sociology, anthropology). Emphasis is put on the notions of enunciation and re-enunciation, of creativity and invention, in relation to the natural environment as well as to institutions and collective bodies. She co-leads the scientific journal of semiotics Signata – Annales des sémiotiques. Annals of Semiotics (University of Liège) and she is a member of the editorial board of the collection « Sigilla » (Press of the University of Liège).
