Naiara Berasategi Sancho is Associate Professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Degree in Primary Education (Special Education), Diploma in Teaching Special Education, sociologist and international doctorate from the University of the Basque Country.
Her line of research has focused on social and educational inclusion, on groups in situation of vulnerability and on the vulnerable groups and students with special needs and educational support needs.She belongs to the research group Inkluni and to the consolidated research group KideON.
She has participated and is principal investigator in several Erasmus+ competitive projects, in projects at state level MINECO and in University-Business-Society projects.
University-Business-Society projects for the University of the Basque Country. She participates in innovation projects related to higher education and new teaching methodologies.
She has made several stays asvisiting professor at the University of Reno-Nevada (USA), the University of Malta, University Collegue University of Malta, the University College Dublin and the Instituto de Altos Estudios de Ecuador (Quito).
