Graduate in Art History with a major in archaeology. In 2018 Carolina Castuera Bravo studied a Master's Degree in Research and Management of Historical, Artistic and Cultural Heritage at the University of Murcia. She started my research career in 2019 with a training grant for the development of a Master Plan for the archaeological sites of Mengíbar. Since She joined the University Institute For Research In Iberian Archaeology she has been linked to this group of excellence focused on the research of Iberian societies. In this framework she participated in the fieldwork campaign in the Italian region of Le Marche (Marche), within the « ILITAURO » research project, as well as in the different excavation campaigns of Iliturgi and Ianus Augustus.
Currently, Carolina Castuera Bravo is a University Teacher Training (FPU) contract (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities) in which she is immersed to carry out my doctoral thesi.

For more than a decade, the University Research Institute for Iberian Archaeology at the University of Jaén has been developing a line of research focused on the study of conflict scenarios related to the Second Punic War.
